Introduction
Hello, I'm Olive, new here. :]

Just a quick question, if nobody minds: I used to talk and interact a lot with my characters a few years ago, but I wasn't bonded with them. Now, I have different characters, and I believe one is bonded. I have a very strong connection to him (much stronger than the ones before), but there's little speaking. Is this just because the characters are different? And, is it really a soulbond if there's not much verbal interaction?

Is a person still a person if they're not very talkative? You connect with different people in different ways, and some talk while others may be more observers. I have one rattling around here who almost never speaks at all.

The original definition of Soulbonding was something along the lines of "you feel a strong connection with a character." No mention of fronting or talking or even another presence.
So, yes.

*nods* Certainly so as others have said! Some of my own bonds can be quiet for years, but the connection is still there. :)

For a time, we didn't verbally interact. Just... pure thought. Feelings, not words.

This whole thing is what you make of it.

Hmmm... you've suddenly made me wonder about interaction with deaf bonds--or deaf bonders. That could be interesting...

*wanders off on mental tangent*

Oh, and welcome! Don't worry if he's not talkative; one of my boys can barely pry his jaws open long enough to mumble a verb.
